OFFICIAL LOGO FOR KADAYAWAN FESTIVAL 2026 UNVEILED


LOOK. The official logo for Kadayawan Festival 2026 was unveiled during the city’s media launch at Acacia Hotel Davao on Wednesday, July 22.
Presented by City Tourism Operations Office head Willenito Tormis Jr., the logo’s creative direction features ‘Banig sa Kagikan’, highlighting the city’s eleven cultures and patterns.

Logo Components
Philippine Eagle – the largest forest raptor in the Philippines and the country’s National Bird! Considered the largest of the extant eagles in the world in terms of length and wing surface area. Davao City is home to the Philippine Eagle Foundation.
Waling-Waling flower – the “Queen of Philippine Flowers”, endemic to Mindanao in the provinces of Davao, Cotabato, and Zamboanga.
Durian and Cacao fruits – Durian the “King of Fruits” to which Davao City is nicknamed “Durian Capital of the Philippines“; and Cacao signifies Davao City’s title as the Chocolate Capital of the Philippines and the entire Davao Region (Region 11) as the Cacao Capital of the Philippines!
Mount Apo – the highest mountain peak in the Philippines with an elevation of 2,954 meters (9,692 ft) above sea level where Davao City is situated!
Banig Sa Kagikan – Eleven cultures. Eleven patterns. One unbreakable tapestry. We are diverse. We are resilient. We are one, KadayaONE!
