In line with the vibrant festivities of the upcoming Kadayawan sa Davao 2026, the Davao City Economic Enterprises (CEE) is set to launch the Kada-Kada Bazaar at Ramon Magsaysay Park, running from August 7 to August 31, 2026.
Grace Sabas, Organizer of the Kada-Kada Bazaar, said that the month-long event aims to evoke cherished memories while strengthening local micro-enterprises, turning one of the city’s most historic landmarks into a thriving hub of culture, cuisine, and family entertainment.
“Mahinumduman nato nga pag dalaon ta sa atoang ginikanan sa Magsaysay Park, lipay na kaayo ta. So, mao ni ang Kada-Kada Bazaar nga atoang buhayon ang kalingaw sa Magsaysay Park ug unsa ka bibo ang Magsaysay Park sa una (We remember how happy we were whenever our parents brought us to Magsaysay Park. That is what the Kada-Kada Bazaar is about, reviving the joy and lively atmosphere that Magsaysay Park was known for),” she told Madayaw Davao over Davao City Disaster Radio on July 28, 2026.
The bazaar will feature 64 spaces dedicated to Dabawenyo entrepreneurs, offering a wide variety of experiences for visitors.
Food lovers can indulge in street food favorites, artisan snacks, desserts, refreshing beverages, and plant-based dishes. Families can also enjoy recreational activities such as inflatable playgrounds, kiddie playground, gaming booths, zumba sessions, face painting, and photobooths.
Visitors can also take part in promotional activities including product sampling, giveaways, and brand activations. For those looking to bring home a piece of Davao, the pasalubong section will showcase souvenir apparel, t-shirt printing, crafts, delicacies, and local products.
To maintain peace and order, everyone should observe the “Clean as You Go” policy and avoid littering, vandalism, damage to public property, and posting of unauthorized materials.
For safety, smoking, illegal drugs, alcohol, sharp weapons, illegal firearms, and gambling are strictly forbidden within the premises.
Additionally, loud music, ball games, remote devices, pets, and unauthorized gatherings are prohibited to ensure a serene atmosphere for all attendees.
Consorcia B. Ronquillo, Officer-In-Charge of the Ramon Magsaysay Park, CEE also invited everyone to visit the park and enjoy the wide array of food and activities prepared for the festival.
“Gina imbitahan nako ang tanan Dabawenyos and all visitors na mag adto, mag suroy sa Davao City most especially sa atoang Ramon Magsaysay Park na kung diin didto ang launching and opening sa atoang Kadayawan sa Davao na mag start karong August 7 to 31. I enjoy sad nato ang atoang mga pagkaon na gidisplay didto. So, hopefully, ang kalingawan magpadayon ug dunay kahapsay, kalinaw sa atoang umaabot nga Kadayawan Festival (I invite all Dabawenyos and all visitors to come and visit Davao City, especially our Ramon Magsaysay Park where the launching and opening of our Kadayawan sa Davao will take place from August 7 to 31.
