WHEN staying in a hotel, more than the amenities and the other discounts that it offers, what the customers actually keep on top of their priority and preference list is the high-end services that the hotel can provide.

 

The way the staff treat the customers is as important as all the other amenities available in the hotel.

 

This is what Alu Hotel always keeps in mind and tries to bank on as some of their staff are certified by American hospitality standards, which assures that the type of services they provide are on-point and are always checked.

 

Six of their food handlers in their Le Café Bar and Restaurant are Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP)-certified. Two of these are Certified Food Protection Managers, while four are Certified Food Handlers.

 

The restaurant on the first floor of Alu Hotel does not only offer delectable dishes and great ambiance but as well as safe and properly-handled food.

 

One of their supervisors was recently a Certified Hospitality Supervisor (CHS). Becoming a CHS translates to having effective skills in leadership, time management, and communication. On top of that, CHS know how to quick and act fast when the need arises as well imparting their knowledge to the staff working under them.

 

One of their butlers as well just recently received a 7-star Butler Certificate, standard following that of the United Kingdom.

With this great gamut of staff that they have – from the supervisors down to the staff -- Alu Hotel Manager Randy G. Ibot said the guests can really assure good stay in the hotel. Upon checking in, he said, the guests can immediately feel convenience as they can already check in within one minute with the fast-paced and convenient check-in process in the front desk.

 

Similar to other hotels, there is also a receptionist on duty at the desk 24/7 for any assistance that the guests would need any time of the day that they are checked in. Upon checking in, they are ushered to their rooms by one of their polite and welcoming staff. To make the guests feel at home and very much welcome, Ibot said they are politely addressed by their last names such as Mr. Dela Cruz or Mrs. De Guzman instead of just Ma’am and Sir. Through this, Ibot said they want to make the guests feel like staying in Alu Hotel is indeed having friends away from home.

 

When on days that the guests feel like getting a massage, a call to the front desk will bring in an accredited masseur to the room – no need for the guest to go out of the room.

 

Their regular room rates start at P1,750, Deluxe rooms at P2,250, Junior Suite at P3,200, and Family Room at P3,900. These prices are all subject for 25 percent discount if the guests reserved their rooms at least a week before their actual stay-in. All of the room rates, even those that are already discounted, are inclusive of free breakfast.

 

As they very much care for what their customers are excited and happy about, every 15th and 30th of the month, Alu Hotel offers Payday Buffet at only P199 per head and is open to both guests and non-guests alike. Aside from this, at only P550 per person, the guests can already enjoy unlimited beer from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
